Application for Brazil
Business/Visitor/Employment Visa
Note: For all categories type of Visa ,With effect from 27th Jan 2015, the visa section at
the Embassy of Brazil will only accept applications for which documents are
scanned into the system at the time of filing the visa application form online.
The documents that need to be scanned:-
- Signature
- Photograph
- Passport
- Covering letter detailing the purpose of travel
- Invitation letter if applicable
TOURIST VISA
This visa is issued
for the following categories:
- For Tourism
- Seminars / Conferences (participated without
paying)
- Art Contests / Sports Competitions (participated
without paying / prize money and no entry tickets are sold)
- Cruise Travelers
- Short term Rotary exchange (not more than 2 – 3
months)
Minor
under 18 must provide the following:-
- Original birth
certificate and its copy. Without original the copy must be notarized
- A notarized letter
of consent signed by both the parents, if the minor is travelling alone
- Immunization record
for polio for children between 3 months to 6 years age
Non
Indian Citizens, With the general requirements will need to come personally
and also present a copy of the Indian Residential Permit for foreign residents
and a valid document to return from Brazil.
Academic Seminars / Conferences ,
With all the general documents a Signed invitation letter from the organization
of the competitions/contests ,1- providing the activity to be performed ,2-
Location and duration of the activity/event
BUSINESS VISA
This
visa is issued for the following categories:
- Business Trips ( like prospective meetings,
signing contracts, sales promotions etc.)
- Media coverage or filming
- Flight/ship crewmembers not holding an international
crew card
Individuals
involved in installation , service and / or equipment repair /any technical
assistance in Brazil do not qualify for a business visa. They require a Temporary
Visa V (Work Permit).
Documents Required
- Passport should not
expire less than 6 months from the intended arrival date in Brazil. And have
one blank page available.
- Photocopy of first
two pages and last page of passport
- An Original and
signed visa application form.(Parents signed below 18).
- Physically filled
visa forms will not be accepted by Embassy.
- 1 recent passport
size photograph with white background.
- Invitation letter
from the company letter head with clearly mentioning 1-its registaration no. 2-
The contact details and 3- All the details of the proposed visit to Brazil,
including the duration of the stay.
- A letter from the
Indian company where the applicant is employed,1- stating the employees name
and title, 2- how long the employee has been working for the company 3- purpose
of visit with complete details of the proposed trip.
